Why is it that Police indentities are protected under laws governing Police Officers?

We want to know who Officer Ragan is. We want to see his picture blasted all over the news like any other criminal, or murderer, or person involved in a hideous act, serial killer, or racial hate crime. Who is this devil, what does he look like?

We want to know more about Officer Ragan other than his father was a Inglewood Police and filed and won a civil suit against the Inglewood Police Department. We want to hear more than the same old excuse, "he was in fear for his life."

There needs to be a review board of community activist and community leaders that work with the department on their policies and their commitment to protecting the community as opposed to being wreckless, untrustworthy, loose cannons and demonic,

Police Officers that come from suburbs should be required to do community service in the community as a sheriff does by working in the county jail for several years before being allowed on the streets.

An officer needs to face criminal charges when it is found that he broke the law, acted unappropiately or falsified police reports that cause a man or woman to go to jail or prison. Officers should not be rewarded a paid vacation for killing innocent people who have not committed a crime. They should be labeled menace to society, a threat to the community, high risk, and subject for enhancements just like gangmembers that have no documentation saying he or she belongs to a gang.

When someone breaks in a house, and then the burglarizes a second time, that persons' sentence is doubled; Officer Ragan committed two murders and he's at home somewhere getting paid; thousands of black men are serving life sentences for lessor crimes- like stealing a beer or a lawnmower.

Allowing Officer Ragan to walk away without a thorough investigation by a panel other than the Police Department is an injustice and should NOT be trusted. Kevin Wicks body was not even identified for 4-5 days, he was toe tagged as a John Doe! The bullshit has to stop, Ragan needs to be fired, tried, and prosecuted for not one murder, but TWO!

My friend, my homeboy, and my play brother was gunned down by a cowardice police act in Inglewood. The community is outraged, or are we?

We held a big rally, but it should have been bigger. We didn't have thousands, not even hundreds, but we still managed to shut down a 4 block stretch of S. La Brea and West Manchester Blvd in route to Inglewoods City Hall.

On August 14th Community Activist had planned another rally at the doorsteps of Inglewoods Police Department, but it was strategically underminded by someone other than the supporters of Kevin Wicks. Someone scheduled a private meeting in a small hair salon on Manchester Ave and redirected the media. There were more media vans than there there were protestors.

And there was just as many false prophets and low down dirty serpents as there were members of the media- who bumped shoulders with Police Chief Seabrooks, pretended to take notes, and smiled in her face, only to walk away with nothing new on Officer Ragan nor the investigation.

Outside of this private and strategical meeting tension was high. First we argued how much of a coward Chief Seabrooks was for holding a private meeting instead of a public meeting. Then there is the case of the hecklers who had harsh words for Naji Ali and how he handled the Jamiel Shaw Jr murder in public.

Two hours after constantly disrespecting Naji Ali and other Black men such as myself, by Black men and Black women, one heckler fired on Naji Ali, connecting several times before grabbing on Naji like a woman, in an attempt to keep himself from falling on the ground like a drunk. I couldn't help but to collar him up from behind and toss him 6 feet backwards like a loaf of bread.

Did I mention that the Police Chiefs body guards were black, and one of the two officers assigned to protect the entrance was Black? Well ain't nothing wrong with that, especially since many of us were already felons before we thought about becoming police.

Last time I checked this was about Kevin Wicks, Michael Byoune, and others who have died at the hands of the Inglewood Police Department. The last time that I checked we were concerned about a Black woman inheriting a corrupt police department and treating us worse than the klan.

The last time that I checked the community was supposed to be outraged that Officer Ragan was allowed back on the force 10 weeks after commiting his first cowardly murder by shooting through the windshield of his patrol car and killing an unarmed kid.

Excuse me, I forgot to mention that the morning after wicks candle light vigil all of the candles and pictures were gone. When the manager of the building was asked what happen to them, she said several people picked them up and threw them away. Huh? The morning after being murdered by a Police Officer?

The Klan doesn't even have to worry about us anymore, we are doing a good enough job on our own. We can't even find a common agenda, to stand up for our own community, both black and brown- against the injustices done onto us as citizens of this country. The oppressor no longer has to worry about sending someone in to organize us, last night proved to me we cannot be organized. Period.

Certifying an Internet Gangsta

In modern society all you have to do is sign onto the Internet and you can be whomever you wish to be. You can live out your fantasies or you can spend your time researching and learning information to assist you in pretending to really be somewhere and somebody that you are NOT.

Over the course of time and thanks to the internets most popular gang website founded by Alex Alonso @ http://www.streetgangs.com/, and defunct websites like http://www.ripsanddamus,and/ http://www.allhood.net/ , many people infactuated with L.A.'s gang Culture have chosen a gang from one of the famous list of Los Angeles gangs, asked questions, dissected movies, rap lyrics, and gang documentaries, now they have turned into hardcore street criminals. Or to put it in perspective- Big Cyber Thugs.

Myspace.com has become a perfect resource to find information, exchange information, and to steal pictures of actual gangmembers. I ran across one guy who actually used the picture of a samoan with a nice physique, who is actually a inmate on Death row that goes by the nickname name 'Rosco'. Then there is possibly the biggest internet fraud there could possibly be pretending to be a Baby Gangster from the South Side Compton Crips, a gang he probaly became familiar with when Tupac was killed by Baby Lane. His screen name is BG Casper, but was born and raised in France.

Wait.. maybe that isn't the biggest internet fraud considering I knew from the very first time that I seen him post that he was illigitimate. There are a few other clowns who claim to be the downest gangstas from the most notorious gangs in watts who actually have people co-signing for them and 'verifying' their affiliation. Boy was I fooled by one claiming to be the toughest 'nigga' from Five Line (115th Street) Bounty Hunter Watts. I use to chop it up with this cat daily, he knew a lot of people that I knew, close friends as well as enemies that I have had run-ins with. He went as far as to tell me that he verified 'me' . Wow, ain't that a bitch?

It wasn't until later that I found out his wife, was a woman that he met over the internet and never seen her in person a day in his life. I found that his pictures that he posted on myspace and in his yahoo messenger icon were a work of art, he was a graphic artist. He went from site to site explaining how much of a great father he was, and people believed him. Not me, I mean.... I already knew he wasn't much of a father at all, shit, for that matter- was he even a father at all??? His internet career all but disappeared when Shox asked him a question about Watts.

This dude had all the makings of a career criminal and very street and prison savvy. He was waiting on a huge settlement from California's Correctional Facility because he was beaten and mistreated while in Pelican Bay Segregated Housing Unit... he had case logs, incident reports and pictures of his cell and the pod he claimed to be housed in. It wasn't until a forum member put the dates together and realized that he was only 9 years old during the watts peace treaty between Grapes and Hunters. Later I realized that during a topic regarding criminal history that he mentioned he had NEVER advanced past juvenile halls, the youth authority, and fire camp. Pelican Bay is a maximum security prison for adults and the most violent inmates in the system besides death row.

Are these people suffering from split personalities, an identity crisis, feeling the need for acceptence, or really want to be bad guys? How can you tell if someone on the internet is really gangsta, and is it really possible to verify someone elses affiliation via online?

Taking Pictures of Bodies in a casket

Many people find that taking pictures of loved ones in caskets very dsrespectful, Are Black people the only ones who take pictures of loved ones in the casket for personal flicks or does everyone do that?

I have a few pics buried somewhere in my collection of pictures that people have given me but I never treated them with the respect that I have for my other pictures of the deceased depicted as a cool or strong brother, something that I remember him/her as... it is distasteful and irritating to me to look at my comrades laying in their casket often looking like a totally different person from the one that i knew...

I have never personally taken a flick of anyone in a casket..

But... my Moms was an exception to the rule...

While I was in prison for several counts of armed robbery my moms passed, quite a few people sent me pics of her in her casket, the shit wasn't something I wanted to see... but because I couldn't attend... I am good with being able to see moms how she went out... she looked good.. and thats how I remember her, sleeping and looking good...
